Born and raised in Bergen County, New Jersey, John Kosco has been professionally tattooing since 2006. Over nearly two decades in the industry, he has continued to refine and expand his artistic abilities, developing a versatile style that blends illustrative tattooing, neo traditional influences, bold color work, and dynamic black and grey designs.

John's passion for art and creativity extends far beyond tattooing. Throughout his career, he has dedicated himself to exploring different forms of artistic expression, all of which have helped shape the unique approach he brings to every tattoo. His portfolio reflects a balance of strong composition, clean execution, and attention to detail, whether he is creating a small meaningful piece or designing a large scale custom project.

Known for his collaborative approach, John enjoys working closely with clients to transform ideas into tattoos that feel personal, timeless, and uniquely their own. Outside of tattooing, John is a devoted husband and father of two boys. He is also an accomplished musician whose passion for music began at the age of twelve. In 2004, he signed with the nationally recognized rock band Dropbox through Universal Records, an opportunity that led to extensive touring throughout the United States. During that time, he shared stages with major acts including Godsmack and was part of a project that ultimately earned Gold Record status.

Today, John continues to bring that same creativity, discipline, and passion into his tattoo career. Whether working in color, black and grey, illustrative designs, or neo traditional tattooing, he remains committed to delivering artwork that is both visually striking and built to stand the test of time.
